Grounded Goods.

Family photography rooted in connection and place.

I’m Lachlan Dale, a family and documentary photographer based in the Lockyer Valley, working with families across Ipswich and South East Queensland.

I document real moments for families and values led brands who want imagery that feels honest, calm and true to who they are.

How I approach my work

  • Sessions are calm and unhurried, with gentle guidance so families never feel pressured or posed.

  • Every session is shaped by light, environment and season, whether at home or outdoors.

  • I observe and respond rather than direct, allowing real moments to unfold naturally.

  • With over a decade of professional photography experience, I work intuitively and with care from start to finish.

“His photography feels thoughtful and intentional, capturing not just moments, but the emotion within them.”
