Grounded Goods: Seeds of Story

Four Month Photography Mentorship

This mentorship is about more than photography. It is about slowing down, seeing with intention and learning to create from a place that feels real and grounded.

Through four months of guidance, weekly calls and creative challenges, we will explore both the art and the heart of photography. Together we will learn how to tell stories that feel alive, to capture connection and to grow through the process itself.

From my own seasons of learning to the lessons found here on the land, this mentorship is built around honesty, patience and growth. Whether you are just beginning your journey or ready to refine your craft, I will be here to guide and encourage you each step of the way.

Grounded Goods Mentorship is about finding your creative rhythm — in your work, in your story, and in yourself.

What is an immersive mentorship?

The Grounded Goods Mentorship is a four-month immersive photography journey designed for photographers of all levels — whether you are picking up a camera for the first time or refining your creative craft.

Photography can feel overwhelming at times. We all move through seasons of doubt, comparison and uncertainty, searching for our voice or wondering if our work is enough. This mentorship was created to guide you through that process — to help you see, create and grow with confidence and intention.

This is not just another course. It is a personal, hands-on experience shaped by my own years of learning, creating and finding balance between art and life on the land. You will be supported through weekly calls, creative challenges, feedback sessions and honest conversations that nurture both skill and mindset.

Across the four months, we move through three grounding phases — Visualise, Capture, Grow and Ground. Each phase is designed to help you strengthen your technical understanding, develop your creative identity and build lasting confidence in your photography.

This is a space for learning, reflection and connection. Whether you dream of turning photography into your work or simply want to reconnect with the joy of creating, I will be there with you every step of the way.

The Grounded Goods Mentorship is about more than taking photographs — it is about slowing down, seeing the world with fresh eyes and finding your creative rhythm again.

A Little About Me

I am a photographer, storyteller and mentor with over a decade of experience in both commercial and creative work. My journey began at the Queensland College of Art, where I completed a Bachelor of Photography and first discovered how deeply the camera could connect people, place and emotion.

Over the years I have photographed everything from products and portraits to lifestyle campaigns, leading photography teams for well-known Australian brands such as City Beach and Billabong. Alongside this, I worked as a photography instructor, teaching and mentoring emerging photographers to find confidence in their craft.

Now, as a Senior Photographer with QLD Health, I document moments of resilience, connection and care — work that continues to shape how I see the world and the quiet power of storytelling.

Life on the land has changed me too. Moving to our 10-acre property with my family taught me to slow down and truly see the everyday — the morning light across the paddocks, the laughter of our children, the rhythm of the seasons.

Through Grounded Goods, I bring all of these experiences together. My creative work and mentorships are built on honesty, patience and connection — inspired by nature and the grounded way of living that guides everything we do here.

Whether you are starting your creative journey or looking to rediscover your voice, I am here to help you see with intention and create from a place of truth and calm.

Who This Mentorship Is For?

This mentorship is for photographers, storytellers and creatives who want to grow with purpose. It’s for those who crave depth in their work — who want to move beyond quick edits and trends to find their true creative rhythm.

It’s for you if you:

  • Feel drawn to create with honesty and meaning

  • Want to reconnect with your creativity after burnout or self-doubt

  • Need guidance to strengthen your technical foundation

  • Long to tell stories that reflect emotion, nature and connection

  • Seek a supportive mentor and community rather than a one-time course

Whether you are starting fresh or refining years of experience, this space is about finding your own grounded way of seeing — one that feels real, human and uniquely yours.

Why Learn Through Grounded Goods?

Grounded Goods is built on the belief that creativity grows best when it is nurtured slowly, with care and intention. This mentorship isn’t about chasing trends or technical perfection; it’s about helping you find your rhythm as both a photographer and a person.

You’ll learn through real stories, honest feedback and hands-on practice — the same way I learned, through time, mistakes and small moments of growth. Every part of this mentorship is designed to feel human, supportive and connected to something larger than the screen in front of you.

Here, learning mirrors nature. You plant the seed, nurture it, and watch it evolve with patience. By the end of this journey, you’ll not only have new skills but a deeper sense of creative purpose — one that is grounded, confident and uniquely your own.
